This engine needs a new prop. The only number on it is:
48 77344 A40 17P
I know what the 17P stands for but not the rest. I have done a search for this prop and it comes up blank. I do not have the manual for this engine so I do not know what the manufacture recommends as top rpm ect...
What is the advice of the Salty Dogs on here?
I am just wanting a good prop to use in the Puget Sound (WA) in the waters in and around Whidbey Island. I have read a good deal in this forum about the props but being new to all this, I am not sure what is the best for what I want. My boat is a 1970 LasVegas Sahara 20' tri-hull(measured from bow to stern) 17' on title for some reason. I thank you all for your help in advance.
