I was filling my lower unit on a motor I just purchased. As I was filling, fluid began to leak out of what appears to be like a weep hole about 1/2 way between bottom hole and upper vent hole on right side. Any idea why this maybe happening? The lower unit was dry when I recieved motor.

If the engine was dry, and you think there was no residual running oil in the leg, AND if the oil smells like lower unit oil, then one of the seals is leaking and the lower unit oil is finding its way to the weep hole. Either that or the casting is cracked--and we don't want to take that trip.

Guess I'm gonna have to pull the lower end off. It was deffinitely fresh gear lube coming from hole and it was a pretty large volume of oil. Keeping my fingers crossed case isn't cracked.
