Hey guys. started today on the revamping of my 1970 chrysler fury. started in on cutting out the floor. it had one really bad spot, and one not so bad spot. so i was fully prepared for the worse. strigers, transom, exct rotted. well to my shock as i was cutting through the deck it was alot stronger than i had expected. got it out from the dash back, and got too looking at the MASSIVE amount of foam in this boat. its wet about an inch down where the worst spot was, but below that bone dry to the hull. everywhere else it was only wet about 1/2 inch to completely dry.ill let it bake in the sun untill its dried out. then lay my new deck and glass er in. i picked up boat and trailor last week for 150 on craigs list. score! drilled some holes in the transom in a few places and the wood was damp at the very top. the shavings were a nice wood color and not soaked, just damp. SCORE. long in the short of it here are a few pics i snapped today on my telly. hope you enjoy. and i will be posting progress. as of today i have a deadline of july first. three days to test before the big day. :D later guys. 0528101820a.jpg

I want your windshield! I just picked up a 1972 Fury with no windshield. How did yours turn out?
