Hey everyone, long time reader, first time poster. I've never owned a boat before and figured "why not"; Anyways, I've got an Evinrude 115083D that's been a bit of a problem child since I picked it up, now that I've been able to get it running (after rebuilding carbs, having to replace throttle cable, having to replace the distributor rotor, new flywheel key and changing the fuel pump) and I know that it's been beat to death but I want to start a new thread for myself.
The motor starts fine, idles a little rough but then stalls out after a few seconds (10 or so). I'm running it on muffs currently because I want to try to figure out as much as I can before I get out on the water and have to call the coast guard to tow me back in.
Before you yell at me, I've never worked on an engine before, 2 stroke or otherwise.
