1970 Evinrude 60 hp

The motor runs well under load (at high and low speeds) for about 25 minutes, then it starts chugging like it can't get fuel and eventually stops. After waiting for about 3-5 minutes it runs fine again. The water pump has been checked and is working fine, also the fuel line seems to be ok. Anyone have any ideas?

Check fuel pick-up in tank.Is squeeze bulb staying firm when motor is chugging.Filter clean?Check tank vent.

Hello.<br />After you do as suggested in previous response,<br />try and dump some dry gas in the tank next time you fill it up.It might be that simple.
