After assistance from FR and Joe Reeves I've learned the proper way to test motor. I basically tested everything back***wards. The sensor wires had a ground short. Once inside the distributor and pulled wires off sensor I checked the sensor. High ohm reading stayed when adjusting throttle. Ohm meter jumped all over doing same test at the wires. Can't express my gratitude enough to the experts who volunteer their knowledge for us guys who buy older cheap motors.
