I just picked up a 1970 or so Kiekhaefer Mercury model 40, single cyl liquid cooled 4 hp tiller outboard that's not been run since 1975.<br /><br />It's in great shape and started right up but isn't 'peeing', so I immediately shut it down. I did notice that it's trying to pump *something* out the water outlet as there is some air pressure there and a sprinkle or two, but no 'stream'.<br /><br />How do I go about replacing the water pump and/or impeller on this little guy? I've never had to do this before on my other Mercs.
