I have followed all of the helpfull advice from this forum. I greatly appreciate it too. I feel like I'm wasting my time, and now I'm going backwards.<br /><br />good battery - no spark<br />rope start - no spark<br />battery booster - no spark/bad starter now<br />5 merc dealers won't work on it - too old<br />patiencce - gone<br /><br />make me an offer

Hey that sucks. But don't just trash it man. Part it out and sell it on ebay, unless you can get more than $250 for it whole. If you lived in Texas I'd be at your door with some cash, but...

I live in Georgia and have a 69' Merc. I really only need a lower unit or the prop shaft, but for the right price I'll buy the whole thing. Have any idea what shipping would cost? I'm definately interested if you are sure you don't want to keep it.
