1970 omc stringer sterndrive. Need info?

Please give me all the information you can on this sterndrive. Reliability, etc, etc,. It came out of a 1970 sportcraft with a chevy v8. I purchased a new motor for the boat, but know nothing about these sterndrives. Please help.

what do you wanna know? They are old, expensive and very hard to find parts for. Very strong drive, smooth shifting when they work right but with the age, corrosion is the biggest killer of them.

Take good care of them, check the gear lube condition after every outing and don't run them anytime except in the full down position.
