I changed the points and coil and I don't want to change the amplifier until I eliminate all other possibilitied. I noticed that the rotor has a brass contact for the spark to exit but I don't see where the electricity enters the rotor.
I am also thinking that I am overlooking some sort of interlock that prevents the engine from starting. It is an electric shift. ????? It cranks fine.
The engine looks showroom, but I am not sure that it is worth an amplifier. There does seem to be an output to the coil but I can't get a reading with my meter. Amy suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, Dean
