1970 starcraft trident motor ?

i hae a 1970 starcraft trident model trident i/o seral 910681 i need to find me a carbator and i wont to go to the junk yard to get a used one off a car if i can? so can anyone tell me if i can ? i was told my motor is a 2.5 pontic motor and another person told me it was 2.5 chevolet any info would be very helpful.

sthawk,<br /><br />One thing for sure. You DO NOT want to put an automotive carb. on that engine. Any leaks will go into the bilge and present a HUGE fire/explosion danger.
