1970 stinger

I just purches a 1960 duracraft with a johnson stinger moter, been told the moter is a 1970, am trying to find either a key switch or the whole control. I enter the moter model
j3707567 numer with no results. Even trying to find the repair manual with no pervail. Any one can give me a hand here. Would be great.

That model # makes no sense to me. Maybe to somebody else on here it might.

Are you sure that is the model number, looks more like the serial number.

We found that was the serial number not the model number,they put the wrong number on the tital . model number is 65ESLR72 have found serials number on the control in parts with 65ESL72 wondering if the part will work the same,

A 65ESL72 is a 1972 65hp. This should be your control box, switch is available.
