Good day fellow boaters,

i work on motors constantly, but now i have a motor thati cant figure out, help is needed.

its a 1972 approx evinrude 18 hp.

now to the issue, I have replaced the points, coils, condencers, spark wires and plugs. At approx 1/2 throttle underload and up and at full throttle in tank it is missing occasionly (constant but not in timing with itself) on one cylinder, im running premium gas at 40/1 mix i have checked the gapping on the points coils are strong and lots of spark.
Carb was cleaned as well, this problem was present prior to preforming complete tune up. After tune up the motor ran well untill rewturning from fishing next morning.

Im lost ive triple chedcked everything and still cant figure it out im about to
use the motor for target practice lol.
any ideas?

thanks.... BLade

Nope, you are there and we aren't. All we can do is guess. My guess is it is getting water in the cylinder. That's as good a guess as any.
