Just bought one of these the other day. Good boat, with a decent trailer for a good price. However, I did notice some soft spots. One of which is by the front of the boat where a plastic opening into the hull is. I have read this is where McKee craft poured in thier foam. Anyways, this area let me put my hand in because theres about a 7in square foot area where the foam has been removed. It is damp to the touch in there right now. The second spot I noticed is a few inches infront of the transom at the rear of the boat. When pressed down, it makes a sound like it is crumbling some of the foam on the interior. My question is; can I simply repair single soft spots, or does this mean the entire thing needs to be opened up? The rest of the boat feels rock solid, literally. Here is a pic of the boat, and a few pics of the area the spots mentioned above are.

Any advise is very helpful. I understand that if I was to open it and try to repair this single spot, Im sure I will see the extent of the water damage and it might lead me to do more than planned. The rest of the hull seems in super shape, solid, and well built. I plan to fish, cruise and occasionally tube from this boat. Is there anything you would recommend I do before trying to open this project?
