1971 6R71G Evinrude / Johnson info needed please

I have bought a 1971 6R71G Johnson and am thinking that something is missing off the left side of it. If anyone has any photos of one with the cover off it. We just need a few pics to look at it,. So if postem if ya gotem, thanks for the help guys.
