1971 duo mariner 14'

I happen to own one of these beasts and the main thing I am worried about is buoyancy it seems that boat sits awfully low in the water with the current 40hp motor on the transom I was intending on reinforcing the transom and putting a 90hp motor on here but I am worried about weight distribution and swamping(water coming over the transom <br /><br />any ideas ?

also should say I am concerned about mounting the 90 due to the fact that the current 40 has a lip that comes arounda and bolts through the transon the 90 does not have this
