Well this is my first outboard project, know nothing about them, but am learning quickly!!
I bought a 71 Merc 7.5, and when I got it home I noticed a few wires were out of place and hanging loose, one I figured out, but there are two that have me confused. They are coming off the Stator, one is green one is redish... Does anyone have a picture of where they would go or a wiring schematic??
Next question is for the lower unit, I just rebuilt the water pump and drained the oil out of the lower unit. What is the best way to fill it back up and how much goes in... A book I have says to fill through the drain hole using an Oil Feeder? Is there another way?
