Was curious as how to test the coils with a multimeter, how to test to see if the points are getting voltage, and how to test the stator.

Thanks for the reply! I am getting spark to the No.2 plug, the coil for this plug is the one that the green wire from stator goes to. Not getting spark to the other plug. When I take this green wire and connect it to the other coil, I do get spark to that plug. The jumper between the two coils was in bad shape so I replaced it. But even with the new jumper I can't get spark to other plug unless I hook green stator wire directly to it. Doesn't make since.

Change the insulator blocks and while the points are out to change the blocks clean them.
