1972 25hp johnson

Hello I recently purchased a 1972 25hp Johnson Sea Horse, rope start. It spins free and has good compression. I cleaned the points and now have great spark. I have ordered a ignition kits, carb rebuild kit, water pump rebuild kit, thermostat kit, and a manual for the motor. I was just wonding how hard the water pump is to replace, and if there is any tips and pointers anyone has for me about this motor.
