1972 50hp evinrude fuel pump

my fuel pump has 2 outlets, does carbs use both. 1 of the outlets does not pump fuel out. do I need a new pump? thanks guys, sam

I have that same motor, don't know a whole lot about it yet as it is new to me, but the guy i purchased it from said that he had mixed up the two lines coming out of the right side of the pump and when he switched them, everything was fine.
