Found the bottom cylinder coil cracked so I replaced it and it still has no spark. I also found cracks in the stator as well. How can I test the stator to be sure this is the issue?

Hey Tad, if I had an intermittant spark problem that usually began after it warmed up, would a bad powerpack do this? or would you search elsewhere?

Ignition components often fail once warm. Either a faulty power pack or ignition coil normally causes no fire in only 1 cylinder on these motors. Is the ground connection for the coil clean and polished? Extremely rare causes include a weak trigger magnet in the flywheel or a faulty timer base.
