1972 6hp propeller removal.

Hello.

I cant pull out the propeller of my outboard 6hp johnson.
I unscrewed, i pulled out the small cylindric piece of metal and then i tried to pull out the propeller , i knocked it a few times but nothing.
Do i have to unscrew the propeller?
What i have to do?

if you'll go to shop2.evinrude.com..select johnson, your year and hp...look at the gearcase diagram...if parts #52, 53, and 54 are removed the prop should tap off

Spray some penetrating oil on the shaft in and around the prop, sounds like its stuck on.
