1972-85 hp evinrude tilt

I got lucky and found the whole tilt unit for my evinrude it came off a 71 - 100 hp johnson. I only paid fifty bucks for this rare find. Fits right on I just swapped the whole motor mounting bracket. I am a oold man with a bad back and I had a manual on it before. Them there motors sure are heavy. Anyway. What kind of hydulic fluid does it take? My 115 merc took motor oil. Is this different?

dextron, or power steering fluid. fill, then close, have someone, press up, and someone lift the motor all the way, lock motor there, refill, seal, and press down all the way, then press up, and lift, refill, seal, repeat, repeat, repeat. once it takes itself all the way, keep recycling, 5 -6 times.
