I inherited this boat in 2001 tried to run it once. When it is stone cold will run up to full throttle and purr like a kitten then all of a sudden start cutting off just like turning the key off and on. It is kind of hard on the stern if you know what I mean. We put a new power pak on new stator ring all new under the hood harness and a new fuel pump. Took it to the water and the first 200 yards ran great then right back to the same thing. It will run all day at 1/3 to 1/2 throttle but if you try and push it it quits. I have been told to disconnect the clipper circuit that it is built into the new power paks. Any ideas?
