I have a 72 glastron with a 302 and a 270 volvo out drive. I had the engine and out drive off this spring, to find a water leak turned out to be a very small hole in the bellows. Any way last year when the boat was under power and turning i got a large vibration and would seem like it would slip. when you straightened it out it was fine. When i had it apart this spring i replaced the u joint bellows and the u joints in the shaft. Seemed a lot better but now has gotten worse again. also yesterday went to take off and the boat started going then just revved up Got home and the splines on the shaft spun inside the prop. Today put on a different prop and went out and it vibrates pretty bad when accelerating but then smooths out after you are on plan and moving. Haven't had the prop balanced it was an extra that came with the boat. It will be going in on monday to be trued and balanced. Any other ideas what would cause this.
