Hi folks,

I have had this boat for a while now, running good and all. The other day I noticed water in the bowel of the boat right where the gas tank sits. So it was time to gut the boat and see what was in store for me..

I had to cut a hole right underneath the gas take and suck out the water. I figured out where the water was coming in from. The main eye hook where the wench attaches to. I grabbed 3/8" piece of aluminum and crafted this up and sealed with 4400 caulking. Should hold a nice water tight fit with the added strength.

I was going to post the pix here but there is a 2mb limit. Here is a link to my drop box.

On the stern, the wood underneath the glass was rotten, had to remove it. Thinking about removing the bowl and adding a bilge pump there, any suggestions there? It does not look like a main support of anything, it just a fiberglass bowl.

I have much work, any ideal or suggestions would be great. I will try to make sometime to re-size the pix an post here.

Josh if you upload your pics to a Free Photobucket account you can then use the IMG Code to copy them into iBoats and they will be resized automatically for you.
