My fuel lines are rotted & leaking so they need to be replaced, The 6gal tank is wisper clean inside. I have not checked the onboard tank yet. I will be rebuilding carbs & fuel pumps also.

I was thinking about using the socketless by Aeroquip parts to build them. The 1525 Color Coded

Construction: Synthetic rubber tube, textile braid reinforcement, oil and mildew resistant textile braid cover.

Application: For gasoline, fuel and lubricating oils, air and water. Not recommended for hydraulic impulse applications and is not approved for air brake applications.

Operations Temperature Range: -40F to +212F (-40C top +100C). Water not to exceed +150F (+66C), air not to exceed +160F
(+71C)

I am concerned about the temp rating and the hydraulic impulse statement though. What is recommended? Any & all thoughts are welcome.

Thanks Gene

Gene, There is a BIA certified fuel line that you should use. It is avail at lots of places. Look for the type for outboards(type B?). That motor may have the crimped on brass ends. If so, you may need to buy brass nipples and hose clamps, since the originals are NLA, I think.
