My husband's old 72 Ranger, she been neglected since he past away, was curious if this is fixable or I should scrap it..she was a beauty in her day! If I sold it what would b a fair price. I'm in Va. Near Smith Mt. Lake. The first picture is back in her prime. She was a beauty with the gold metal flake. The 2nd picture is her current state.😪FB_IMG_1625886569718.jpg

welcome aboard.

from the tone of the thread, I assume your husband is no longer with us, for that I am sorry.

this is the time to sell it as the boating market is a sellers market.

you mention that the boat has been sitting. sitting is bad for boats. so is being left outside.

list the boat as a project boat, that has been sitting. state that it has been sitting outside. unless you know the condition of the motor, drive and the boat structure (fiberglass boats use wood as a structure, and generally that wood rots within 15 years), it should be considered a project on a trailer

as a project boat goes, its probably worth $500 to the right individual.
if the motor turns over and has good compression, it may be worth $800-$1000

places to list the boat are your local classifieds, facebook marketplace, ebay, and craigslist

Thank you for your help. Yes Flooring is shot, has been outside, uncovered but I do know motor, (I believe was a 4cyl. Ford Pinto motor lol) but it was winterized. The timing belt needed replacing, then he got sick and sadly he didn't ever fix her as we had another tri hull to use til his cancer took his sight. I truly appreciate you taking time out to help answer my questions.
