1972 Titl/Trim unit

Hello,
Can someone tell me what years will fit a 72 Evinrude V4 engine? We just got an old boat with this 85 horse V4 and want to add an OE tilt/trim unit to it. So my question is If I can't find something that says 72 then what other years will be a direct fit?

OMC went with the new style trim system in 1977, so stick with a 76 and older model. You can compare parts differences on line at the factory parts diagram website: epc.brp.com
