1973 115hp Starflite Repair Manual

I have an 115 HP 115393 Evinrude.

I have an,
Evinrude/Johnson Outboard Shop Manual-48-235 HP * 1973-1989 (includes Sea Drives).

Are there any others that anyone would suggest to get for this OB. Is the Ken Cook Manual offered on this site going to cover info better ($40.95+)? I do know that the parts catolog is available online from Evinrude.

Also which Tiny Tach fits this motor?

The Clymer manual that you have is a general purpose manual with a lot of good information, but lacks the model-specific detail of the OMC factory service manual. If you plan to do your own maintenance, the factory manual is the way to go.

BTW, you can usually find either the Evinrude or Johnson manuals on Ebay for less. Except for colors and decals everthing else is the same.

Is there any particular reason you want a Tiny Tach? Why not get a "real" tach? It takes a common 6-pulse alternator driven tach, lots of them around. The wires are already in the remote control

Any suggestions on a particular brand, dependable yet affordable. Currently the dash on the Larson is not set up to mount a tach.

Looking at manuals, found 2 Starflite 115 manuals. Are there 2 models of Starflite 115's? Found part catolog for Starflite D and service manual for Starflite N
