1973 16 ft. Starcraft SS Bowrider

Hello everyone, I have been lurking here for awhile and have a question about my boat. Can anyone tell how big of a motor I can safely put on my boat? My current one is a 1973 Johnson 65 hp. we are having trouble with it and have been thinking of buying another motor just not sure what sizes we can check into

Max HP on that one should be 85 eh.

You prolly wouldn't need triples. Dual would be great for pulling kids on the tube eh:thumb: :becky:

very nice, once I get it cleaned up we plan on taking the grandson tubing here on Lake Wylie so hopefully we can find something soon TY for the link, I will go have a look.

i haven't looked it up but wouldn't be surprised if them motors are each the price of my house.....
