1973 18hp fuel pump-Which will swap?

HI. I've got a '73 18hp. Model # 18304 http://web.archive.org/web/20020215174850/www.evinrude.com/docktalk/modref/evmodyr/EHP18.html As I went to the parts finder here at Iboat, there is no listing for an 18 kit or full assembly. There is a listing for a carb kit, with or without float, but no fuel pump assembly or kit. The assemblies stop at 15hp for a 92 and older, the kits show nothing in the 18hp range at all. Some help is appreciated. Thanks, KR

part #388684 is replacement.

I think it was the same fuel pump used for many OMC's of various sizes, and covering various years. I know my '76 6 hp has the same one as my '70 25 hp, and I think it's the same as my 80's 15 hp. Last time I checked on the parts, I think the numbers had been changed (but were still common to many motors).

Look for similar size and shape. Beyond that, look at the fittings. Some have two large ones, some have one large one and one small one, some have three. Chose the one that matches the pump and hoses for your motor. The cap which houses the filter and large hose can be repositioned to apply to your installation.

There must be a dozen OEM numbers, but the few that iboats sells will replace most of them.
