i got a 1973 seaport cabin cruiser it has a V8 chevy engine that was out when i bought the boat. it is jet drive but nothing is hooked up. only thing in the boat was block everything was took off Heads/pipes/jet drive and all but i have it all. The hull is in great condition perfect floors and all. in your opinion would it be worth fixing? maybe im missing parts for the jet drive and it would cost me thousands to fix? i want the boat fixed i called marina they said they would put a motor in it and hook it up for 3500 considering all my stuff is good.

It's hard to say if anything is "worth fixing." That's an individual issue. For example, if this boat was doing a lot of distance I would say "no" as these old jet drives are gas hogs. However, given that the jet drive is a 1973 model I doubt that parts are available. At least please get the make and model number off the drive and check with the manufacturer before you spend a dime, because even if the jet drive works perfectly now it will break and you will need parts.
