1973 25hp Mod#25302 (Pull Start ?)

Got a problem with the pully. Several of the lips that the plastic pawl catches when the rope is pulled are broke off. At least one of the remaning catches has hairline cracks and aint got much time lift. Lookin for a new pully. Called a couple of parts houses and they are kinda proud of this pully. They want round $120 for the thing. There is a part # stamped on the pully. Its 384123. (EDIT: forbidden material deleted) <br /><br />Appreciate it fellas.

Hi WTducks<br /><br />On the 25Hp I had, the plastic pawl cought into 2 lips only, casted in inner circle of flywheel. Is your setup different ?<br /><br />The catch has to be aligned with the tdc´s as the pulley is oval inside.

Dane, sounds like your pully is the same. Its oval inside. Not sure what it was I had in the origial message that prompted the edit. I can assure you it was not a case of myself intentionaly doing something against forum policy. I an extending a apology for this oversight on my part.
