1973 2hp johnson seahorse,water in gear

hello,i am finishing a project on this 2hp johnson,i removed the gearcase oil plug and noticed that it has a milky color,changed the gear oil and ran the motor and again the new gear lubricant was creamy in color,i think water is going into gearcase,what do i need to change to fix this.....thanks for helping

Did you change out the seal on the gearcase plug? Even if you did, I would give it one more shot if I were you. That case holds so little oil it'll take a couple changes before it clears up.
