1973 3.5 HP ESKA

Is this engine totally air cooled, I cant seem to find a water pump inside the lower.<br /><br />Also this engine will only run with the choke almost fully closed and the throttle set at "wide open". what could be the cause of this. Thanks for your response.

welcome aboard,<br />it has a small impeller in leg that cools exhaust<br />gases. powerhead is air cooled. try rebiulding the<br />carb to fix problem. find some basic info here:<br /> http://home.earthlink.net/~brixent <br />good luck,<br />M.Y.
