I have 1973 johnson motor, when i turn the key nothing happens. i jumped out the wire going to the solenoid and still it won't engage the starter. if i jump to the other side of solenoid it will start. when i jump out the key switch i get power to the two poles on the solenoid, so i have power to the main pole and the two smaller poles. should'nt that make the starter pole hot? Is it posible I have two problems? i cant find what wire the key comes back to the motor? any help would be great. I'm going crazy
.... thank you...
