1973 65hp power head - 1980 75 hp

I have a 1973 65 hp Johnson long shaft with a bad lower unit. I'm looking at a 1980 75 hp Evinrude short shaft with a jet pump that has a broken block. Will the 65 hp power head bolt up to the 1980 mid section? Thanks, Steve
