1973/76 55HP Seahorse no spark

Unsure of year. My brother replaced the waterpump impeller and had minor issues with shift rod. Fixed that adjustment. Motor ran fine before, now no spark at plugs. Starter will turn over fine from control box. Unsure where to trouble shoot for electrical for plugs. Not familar with power block or how to trouble shoot if that has failed or something else. Any suggestions where to begin?

Unfortunately I did not see anything there. I could use any insight to why there is no spark at the plug level. Maybe some trouble shooting tips?<br /><br />Thanks

I don't know much of your specific motor, but if it is a magneto setup I would clean any rust off the flywheel magnet and the magneto, also clean up the points.
