Hi Chrysler folks,

I'm used to OMC's, so I don't know much about these motors, but I have an opportunity on a 1973 130 hp (no t/t). Any feedback on the quality / reliability / idiosyncrasies / decent purchase price of this beast would be fantastic.

Thanks!

Nice engine. Easy to work on. Parts still available. PROPS becoming difficult to find. Reasonably powered but won't run like an OMC or Merc.

Running engine, No tilt/trim? $250-$300. Maybe a little more. With tilt--500-750. Can be retro-fit with tilt/trim systems up to 1994 Force, 90-125HP engines.

1973 distributor ignition--I think that early they still used points to signal CD box. Nothing wrong, just old school.
