Hey guys thank you for reading this and giving me some hints and knowledge on how to fix this problem in advance. So I've been having a lot of problems with my motor I've done a carb kit on both carbs, new fuel primer bulb, new head gasket on the left side, new plugs well like 6 months old, 1 coil, etc... A bunch more... So today at the lake I missed with the cables for the carbs and made sure they where in sync, and tried to get a better fuel/air mixture and adjusted my throttle cable a little bit and I got my motor to idle better then what it did cause it kept dying. But Idles better now and I went to take off and it sounded around 3,000 rpm gutting my tach stopped working, but would not come close to plain and I'm completely stumped as to what it could be I was adjusting and playing with it for 3 and a half hours at the lake today. Any advice would be very much appreciated and thank you for your time and knowledge.

Not really familiar with a 115, but some general thoughts I have...
First, get the tach working again.. I think I've read that usually if the tach goes out, then the rectifier went bad. If rectifier went bad, stator could be soon to follow..
It's something like that anyway.. LOL
Point is, Find out why tach stopped working and fix that..
Then double check link n sync and throttle settings..
I hope you didn't adjust max timing while messing with it..
3000 RPM sounds way too low and doubt you'd get on plane with that, so..
Anyway..
I'm by no means an expert, but just some thoughts that popped through my head..
For whatever that's worth.. LOL!! :noidea:

Okay cool thank you so check my rectifer but the weird thing is is that my battery for example will say is 12.5 volts as it's running it'll show 12.6 it's jumping up in voltage so it has to be charging I would think so the rectifer should be working right?

Not sure...
I think if it's really charging, you'd see more than a .1 change in voltage..
Charging would be more like reading 14 volts on the gauge or something like that I'd wager..

Again, not an expert here..
I was just throwing out some thoughts I had.. lol..

I bet one of the experienced folks will have much better ideas and advice on that, than I have... LOL :)
