The Evinrude 18 and the Johnson 20 are the same engine. How does it look different? Pictures of both would be nice. It is possible that one of the heads is not the original head to that particular engine, or is one of the various production changes during a model year production run

Turns out they’re the same after looking closer but I’ll post them just to make sure it’s a good head

It (25hp) will bolt on, but NO, don't do it. It must be used with different pistons to get the correct compression ratio..

Thinking racerone might have one? Otherwise, go to the Antique Outboard Club's website www.aomci.org and place a want ad on their classified ads pages. The ad is free.

Will a head from an older 18hp evinrude work? I can find them easily online, they just don’t have the spot on the head to bolt the ignition coils to, if I put one of those heads on would it work? I could just run new grounds from the coils to the head

You could likely fabricate a bracket to mount the coils.----Not that hard to do I think.
