1973 Evinrude 65hp

Hello,
I am looking at a boat with a 73' 65hp on it. The motor runs good, not much history on it, seems to pump water. In general, what is the parts availability for a motor of this year and model? Are these generally a motor with decent longevity, or should I run for the hills? In case it matters there is no tilt or trim on it.

Model number? Is it an electric shift? Those had their own issues. Let us know model number and we can give you specifics.
