Ok whenever I am on the lake the motor is cold to start, once I get it started it idles fine with choke (on the control panel) all the way up, but once I let down on it the motor dies.
Also when I go to accelerate the motor dies.
Though, when I hook it up to muffs and start it up, it fires right up and idles fine. Same with starting it no problems, just cold at first, but if I turn it off then go to turn it on it starts right up, where if I am on the water it doesn't start right back up.
On a side note, to get the motor to even turn over I have to have the throttle in a sweetspot to get the motor to try to start. I'm assuming there is something in the control box that is messed up, just haven't taken off the faceplate as I don't have a manual for the boat.
