is there a charging system on my motor?for my battery or do i have to recharge it with a battery charger ,also i would like to know of a cheap but good trim system for me ,i have a vanguard banshee

It has a charging system. Tell if it is working by checking the battery voltage with a voltmeter. It should be 12 volts +/- before starting the motor and increase after the motor runs awhile. It can go as high as 16 volts or more on an unregulated system.
