1973 Johnson 65hp Carb questions

Okay so this motor will not run in the lake but it will run on muffs or in a barrel. I have had several people tell me is a fuel/air mix problem. The only problem I have is there are no adjustments that I can see. Is these carbs fixed orfices? Also I guess Im gonna pull them and clean them up the previous owner said he done had them kitted. Im just wondering if there is something I should be on the lookout for and whats the best procedure for cleaning these carbs. Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom.

they are fixed jets you need to pull them apart an throughly clean them a bread tie with the plastic melted off works good to get in the tight hard spots are you getting spark on all three cylinders whats the compression
