1973 Mercruiser 165hp sterndrive gasket kit?

I pulled my drive off to check how well my first bellows replacement job went last year. I am trying to find the correct outdrive gasket kit but all the ones I find are for newer pre Alpha drives. My serial number is 3605794. Aren’t the Mercruiser kits simply “universal” nowadays with multiple holes for all applications of Alpha 1 and older drives? Ayuh,..... That'll work,..... The excess gasket will stick out, but that's No problem,.....
