1973 Mercury 650 Replacement Coil

I am trying to find a replacement coil for my 1973 Mercury 650.. I have tried alot of online places to purchase one and they are all sold out.. Can I replace this with a different number? The part number needed is 332-4895T2 (4895A2).. I am not having any luck in locating one.. Thanks

Old mercs has it listed as 332-4895A5. It looks like they have it but its $185 I would verify the serial number with them to make sure you get the right part.

I just did mine on a smaller older motor and it was fairly easy. Good luck!
