1973 pre alpha u joint bellows orientation?

Hey guys,

I’m slowly getting this thing back together. Feels good to finally in the reassembly stage.

There are two labels on the u joint bellows. In the pic, it “top forward” on the lip of the bellows. Simple enough except there’s another label that says “top aft” on the other side of the bellows that isn’t lined up with the “forward” label. Also, there’s two flat spots on the bellows that are only on the “forward” end. Which way do those face?
