115ESL74B motor. Just installed new power pack and water pump impeller.
Fired up (a little rough still) and shows flow out the forward telltale, and a little mist out the upper exhaust just below thermostat block.
The starboard bank runs cool, port side is hot to touch after a few minutes.
Does anyone have a water flow diagram for one of these? Trying to determine where the issue might be. I disconnected the little hose on port side at bottom of cylinder to thermostat block, fired up for a few, and no water flow out of cylinder head or the hose.

Likely the water deflectors ( guides ) out of position.----Remove cylinder head to inspect.

Thanks. I'll look into figuring out how to do that. Follow up question:
Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the thermostat, relief valve assembly? When I took it apart the springs and parts fell inside the cavity. Want to make sure I put the springs in the right place. There was a light duty and heavy duty spring. I figured heavy duty on the vernatherm, light on the little relief/bypass valve.

Also, on the cyl pic, are the deflectors those little rubber hose looking things? If so, they seem to be in good shape.

Don't forget to resurface the mating surface of the heads. (Wet/dry sandpaper on glass or similar hard surface. Rotate in figure 8s until uniformly shiny.)
